All checked into the swanky Edition Hotels located in Madison Square Park.

My weekend recap from my stay at The Edition, from L to R. 1. Sexy curves in the hotel lobby 2. In-room dining options: Beef tartare, olives and fries. 3. The stationary set up en suite. 4. Edition-exclusives from Le Labo. 5. City views from the bedroom

My airport outfit, wearing: Totême Roma T ShirtGrlfriend Custom JeansLoeffler Randall ShoesClaire Vivier Bag, and towing the Away Carry On Luggage.

So what do I pack for a weekend getaway, you ask? Here are some fail-proof staples.

Loeffler Randall ‘Clo’ Tassel Mule Sandals – If you wince at the thought of wearing heels to the airport, I’d reconsider those views with this pair of Loeffler Randall mules. Short-stacked and built for walking, this mule is one of my favorite pairs and one I hope to be replenishing the moment the soles sink in. Bonus points: Looks great casually worn with jeans or dressed up in a mini.
Dorothy Perkins Ribbed Top -A clean, cream, blouse is a versatile fit for cut offs or high-waisted denim.
Denim High Waisted Jeans – A well-fitted pair of blue jeans is all you need for a weekend vibe.
Le Labo Soap – One of the biggest perks of staying at the Edition is the Le Labo products in the guest bedrooms. And let’s face it – no one nails a scent quite like the French perfumery brand.
Mansur Gavriel Circle Calf Leather Bag – So glad these round bags are making a comeback, they’re surprisingly storage efficient and fun to tote around the city. Great for portable chargers, passports, mints and more.
Rimowa Carry On – A seamless way to travel and TSA approved.
Marysia Bowery One Piece – Less is more with a two piece that can serve as a swim suit and a body suit.
Tome Edwardian Skirt – A long skirt is one of those transeasonal staples that’s simple to pair. In fickle East Coast climates, a neutral maxi allows you to seamlessly style for the weather by pairing a skirt with a light blouse or a crop top depending on the tides.
Le Labo Santal Body Lotion – My favorite scent from Le Labo, and one that will get you noticed.
