behind the scenes: bcbg and hervé legér a/w 2012

February 12, 2012

‘Twas the night before Bcbg Max Azria’s Fall 2012 runway show and my friend Cuit invited me over to to the Max Azria and Hervé Legér showroom to pick out a dress to wear for the show. A bonus perk: I got to take a sneak preview of the entire collection before it even hit the runway! Aside from being given free range to dig through the Bcbg and Hervé Legér archive to wear whatever my heart desired, I had the pleasure of speaking with the beautiful Lubov Azria, the creative director and wife of Max Azria. She hones an alluring quality about her that both encompasses the confidence and power of a modern day woman along with the beauty and grace of a classicist. She humbly spoke about the strength of the brand on behalf of her team, that in my opinion, consistently delivers a strong collection season after season. Despite the anticipated flurry that fashion week entails, every floor at the Bcbg showroom was at a calm. The complete opposite of what I expected, at least.

Next up: A review of the Fall 2012 collection and what I wore to the show. Stay tuned folks!
